CVE-2025-5512Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator screen-lock bypass via response tampering

Published Jun 3, 2025 · Updated Jun 3, 2025

Improper authentication in shiyi-blog 1.2.0 through 1.2.1 allows context-dependent attackers to bypass the administrator screen lock. The administrator client trusts the mutable Boolean response from /api/sys/user/verifyPassword/{password} and unlocks when false is changed to true. Exploitation requires control of the browser-side HTTP response for an existing locked administrator session and exposes only that session's backend access.
