Privileged token theft via stored file script
Published Aug 21, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Stored XSS in Esri ArcGIS Enterprise Sites 10.9.1 through 11.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser. A highly privileged user can upload a malicious file containing an embedded script that Sites stores and later renders when another user loads it. Victim interaction is required; the script can disclose a privileged token and enable full control of the Portal.
