Out-of-bounds read in Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo before 6.4.4 allows remote attackers to read memory via an empty IP payload. _nx_ip_packet_receive() dereferences nx_packet_prepend_ptr to select IPv4 or IPv6 before verifying that an IP header is present. Exploitation requires an Ethernet frame classified as IP with zero IP-data bytes; the vendor identifies adjacent-memory disclosure or a crash as possible consequences.
