Published Dec 3, 2025 · Updated Dec 3, 2025
Command injection in Plugin Alliance Installation Manager 1.4.0 for macOS allows local users to execute arbitrary commands as root. Any local process can reach the XPC service because its listener accepts every connection and its authorization check fails open.
