CVE-2025-55031

Account access via forwarded FIDO links

Published Aug 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 13, 2026

Passkey phishing in Firefox for iOS and Focus for iOS before 142 allows attackers to access a target account through a malicious page. Each browser passes a page-supplied FIDO link to iOS, which starts hybrid passkey transport for the attacker's computer. Exploitation requires Bluetooth proximity and user approval of passkey authentication; the attacker's computer then gains access to the target account.
