CVE-2025-54987Network attack vector

Pre-authentication code execution via unvalidated system call

Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Command injection in Trend Micro Apex One 2019 before 14.0.0.14039 allows remote attackers to execute code through its management console. The console uses a user-supplied string in a system call without proper validation, enabling malicious code upload and execution as IUSR. No authentication is required, but the attacker must reach the console on TCP port 8080 or 4343; the flaw affects the Windows management server.
