Information disclosure via external entity resolution
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
XML external entity injection in BAE Systems SOCET GXP 4.6.0.2 and earlier allows attackers to initiate outbound requests via crafted files. The XML file-processing path resolves external entities in saved workspaces and other XML files instead of preventing their expansion. Opening the malicious file is required; the application then issues requests with the user's access, enabling sensitive-information disclosure.
