CVE-2025-54941Network attack vector

Worker code execution via unvalidated origin response

Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025

Command injection in Apache Airflow 3.0.0 through 3.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute code on a worker via a DAG URL. The example_dag_decorator DAG fetches the selected URL and interpolates its unvalidated origin response value into a shell command executed by a worker. Exposure requires example DAGs to be enabled or the vulnerable example code to have been copied into a custom DAG.
