Cross-site scripting in Mermaid 11.1.0 through 11.9.0 allows attackers to execute script through crafted architecture icon text. The architecture renderer passes service iconText directly to d3 html(), which assigns the value to innerHTML without sanitization. A site must render an attacker-supplied architecture diagram without additional sanitization, and a victim must view the result in a browser.
