Modbus service interruption via unauthenticated address change

Missing authentication in Socomec DIRIS Digiware M-70 1.6.9 allows remote attackers to interrupt Modbus communications. The port 502 service accepts unauthenticated Write Single Register messages that stage and commit a new Modbus address without authorization. The three-message sequence leaves the gateway unresponsive to mismatched Modbus RTU-over-TCP requests and returns exception 11 to later Modbus TCP requests, interrupting attached tools and devices.
