CVE-2025-5484Network attack vector

Unauthorized device-profile access via universal default password

Published Jun 12, 2025 · Updated Jun 12, 2025

Weak authentication in SinoTrack IOT PC Platform all versions allows remote attackers to access device profiles through the web interface. The platform uses the receiver's printed identifier as the username and a well-known password shared by every device, without requiring a change during setup. Attackers need a disclosed or physically observed identifier; access reveals location data and permits fuel-pump disconnection on supported vehicles.
