Application crash via unvalidated slice index
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Aug 7, 2025
Denial of service in GoFiber Fiber before 2.52.9 allows remote attackers to crash applications via crafted form data processed by BodyParser. The internal/schema Decoder.Decode method treats a numeric form key as a slice index and calls reflect.MakeSlice with idx + 1 without a size limit. An unauthenticated request reaches the flaw only when an application passes form data with a slice-shaped destination to Ctx.BodyParser; exploitation interrupts that application through a panic or memory exhaustion.
