Command injection in Claude Code before 1.0.20 allows remote attackers to execute untrusted commands through a confirmation bypass. An error while parsing an echo command causes the confirmation prompt to be bypassed, but Anthropic has not published the faulty parser operation. Exploitation requires untrusted content in the context window and a user session that passively processes it, exposing the user's local data and command privileges.
