Paired-device code execution via unchecked AVCTP length

Heap-based buffer overflow in Sony XAV-AX8500 2.00.01 allows attackers to execute code through a paired Bluetooth device. The AVCTP implementation fails to validate attacker-controlled data length before copying the data into a heap buffer, permitting memory corruption. Exploitation requires Bluetooth proximity and prior pairing of a malicious device, and successful exploitation runs code in the current process.
