Session compromise via unsanitized inbound email HTML
Published Aug 7, 2025 · Updated Aug 7, 2025
Stored XSS in the SuiteCRM email viewer in 7.14.0 through 7.14.6 allows remote attackers to run script in a logged-in user's session. The viewer renders attacker-controlled HTML from a prepared inbound message without neutralizing executable content. The attacker needs no SuiteCRM account, but a logged-in recipient must view the message; the script can read data or act with that recipient's permissions.
