Browser script execution via crafted Referer header
Published Aug 7, 2025 · Updated Aug 7, 2025
Reflected XSS in SuiteCRM 7.14.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted HTTP Referer header. The Referer-handling logic blocks an arbitrary domain but fails to neutralize attacker-controlled JavaScript appended to the header before reflecting it into HTML. Exploitation requires a victim to make the crafted request, after which the script runs in that victim's browser context and can read or modify accessible page data.
