JavaScript execution via unsanitized external parameter
Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
Reflected XSS in MedDream PACS Premium 7.3.6.870 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted URL. Pacs/existingUser.php reads the external query parameter and passes it to displayExistingUsers, which prints the value into an HTML hidden input without sanitization. An authenticated PACS user must open the attacker-supplied URL; the script then runs in that user's browser context and can read or alter data available to the session.
