SYSTEM command execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Aug 28, 2025 · Updated Aug 28, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in DOS Co., Ltd. SS1 16.0.0.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute OS commands as SYSTEM. The affected SS1 agent accepts an uploaded file without adequately validating its type, but public advisories do not identify the request handler or execution path. The path is unauthenticated and confined to Windows deployments; successful exploitation permits arbitrary file placement and SYSTEM-level command execution.
