Authentication bypass in Sony XAV-AX8500 2.00.01 allows physically proximate attackers to bypass Bluetooth authentication. The ACL-U link implementation fails to isolate L2CAP channels, allowing traffic to cross an authentication boundary. No prior authentication is required, but the public advisory does not identify the post-bypass functions or data exposed.
