CVE-2025-54757Network attack vector

Stored script execution via dangerous file upload

Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated Jul 31, 2025

Unrestricted upload in PowerCMS 4.0 through 4.6, 5.0 through 5.3, and 6.0 through 6.7 lets remote authenticated users run browser script. The upload path accepts a dangerous file without sufficient type validation and stores content that an administrator's browser interprets as script. A product user account and subsequent administrator access to the uploaded file are required, limiting execution to the administrator's browser context.
