Code execution via unneutralized CSV formula entries
Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated Jul 31, 2025
CSV injection in PowerCMS 4.x through 4.6, 5.x through 5.3, and 6.x through 6.7 allows remote authenticated users to place code in exported CSV files. Public advisories identify CSV export as the locus but do not disclose the affected function or exact neutralization error applied to formula-leading entry data. Exploitation requires product-user access to create the entry and a victim to download and open the CSV in a formula-capable local application, where embedded code executes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
