Disk exhaustion via spoofed self-connection log flooding

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Bitcoin Core 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to exhaust disk space via spoofed self-connections. The peer-to-peer connection handler logs every detected self-connection without rate limiting after matching an inbound version-message nonce to an existing outbound connection. Exploitation requires the victim node first to connect to an attacker-controlled peer; the nonce remains reusable only during the default 60-second timeout, so disk exhaustion requires sustained repetition over a long period.
