CVE-2025-54547

Post-timeout filesystem access via multiplexed SSH sessions

Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025

Insufficient session expiration in Arista DANZ Monitoring Fabric allows attackers to perform file operations after an SSH timeout. The SSH session-expiration handler leaves multiplexed scp and sftp sessions usable instead of revoking their filesystem authorization. The client must enable SSH multiplexing, keep the ControlMaster connection active, and expose its ControlMaster socket to the attacker.
