Authenticated internal-service access via SSH port forwarding
Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025
Incorrect permission assignment in Arista DANZ Monitoring Fabric 8.7.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reach host-internal services. The SSH service authorizes TCP port forwarding for a restricted CLI role, allowing tunnels through the appliance to services otherwise confined to the host. Exploitation requires valid local or TACACS+/RADIUS-backed non-administrator credentials and CLI access; the consequence is limited by the internal services reachable from the affected host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
