CVE-2025-54538

Credential disclosure via hg pull arguments

Published Jul 28, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025

Cleartext credential exposure in JetBrains TeamCity before 2025.07 allows local users to read a repository password from an hg pull command line. The Mercurial integration places the password in arguments passed to the hg client, exposing it through the operating system process command line. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access while an authenticated Mercurial pull is running, and the reported consequence is disclosure of that repository credential.
