CVE-2025-54515

Service interruption via misclassified PSCI security state

Published Nov 23, 2025 · Updated Nov 23, 2025

Improper input validation in AMD Versal Adaptive SoCs and Alveo V80 devices before 2025.2 allows local users to interrupt service. TF-A marks the PSCI Secure Flag as secure instead of deriving it from the calling Cortex-A processor's actual security state, so non-secure requests are filtered as secure requests. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access, active user interaction, and specific execution conditions; the reported consequence is availability loss only.
