Unauthorized content disclosure via API-key-insensitive output caching
Published Jul 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 30, 2025
Information disclosure in Umbraco CMS allows remote attackers to read API-key-protected content through cached Delivery API responses. DeliveryApiOutputCachePolicy enables output caching for non-preview requests without varying cache entries by the API-key header, so an unauthenticated request can receive a response cached for a valid key. Exposure requires API-key restriction and output caching together, and affects 13.0.0 through 13.9.2, 15.0.0 through 15.4.3, and 16.0.0 through 16.1.0; disclosed impact is limited to reading recently primed paths and queries.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
