CVE-2025-54412Public exploit

Arbitrary code execution via forged module metadata

Published Jul 26, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025

Code execution in skops before 0.12.0 allows attackers to run arbitrary code by inducing a user to load a crafted model file. OperatorFuncNode audits the attacker-controlled module and class name together, but construction ignores the module name and invokes operator.class_name. Exploitation requires the user to approve benign-looking reported types and load the model, after which attacker-supplied code runs with that process's access.
