Authenticated command execution via unsanitized Facebook fields
Published Jun 2, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025
OS command injection in Linksys RE6250, RE6300, RE6350, RE6500, RE7000, and RE9000 firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The verifyFacebookLike function in mod_form.so passes attacker-controlled uid and accessToken form values from /goform/verifyFacebookLike into an operating-system command without validation. A valid management session is required, and successful injection runs arbitrary commands with the extender firmware's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
