Cross-tenant site manipulation via missing authorization
Published Jul 26, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025
Missing authorization in HAX CMS Node.js through 11.0.13 and PHP through 11.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to alter other users' sites. API handlers such as deleteNode and getConfig authenticate a JWT but fail to verify that the requester owns or may access the named resource. Any account can enumerate, modify, or delete other users' sites and nodes and retrieve configuration data that can contain cleartext credentials.
