Code execution via custom URL interpolation
Published Oct 3, 2025 · Updated Oct 3, 2025
Code injection in mayneyao Eidos 0.21.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted eidos: URL. The desktop protocol handler interpolates attacker-controlled block and database values into a single-quoted executeJavaScript call, enabling renderer XSS that reaches exposed IPC and stored UDF execution. A victim must visit a page or click a link and approve opening Eidos; the chain then runs operating-system commands with the victim's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
