CVE-2025-5436Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator credential disclosure via unauthenticated configuration request

Published Jun 2, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025

Improper access control in Multilaser Sirius RE016 MLT1.0 allows remote attackers to read administrator credentials via an HTTP request. The cstecgi.cgi handler accepts an unauthenticated POST whose topicurl selects setting/getLoginCfg and returns loginUser and loginPass in JSON. Network reachability to the router management interface is sufficient; disclosure of its administrative username and password enables privileged access.
