Browser hijacking via stored cross-site scripting
Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025
Stored XSS in Desktop Alert PingAlert Application Server 6.1.0.11 through 6.1.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to capture browser data. Desktop Alert has not disclosed the affected input, storage field, rendering path, or the missing neutralization operation that preserves the injected script. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and another user to view affected content; the stored script can hijack that browser and capture sensitive information.
