User-hash disclosure via undisclosed access-control flaw
Published Nov 24, 2025 · Updated Nov 24, 2025
Incorrect access control in PingAlert Application Server 6.1.0.11 through 6.1.1.5 allows remote authenticated users to read user hashes. The vendor has not disclosed the affected endpoint or the authorization check that exposes hashed passwords for all non-administrative accounts. An authenticated Administrator or Moderator account is required, and the disclosed hashes enable offline password-cracking attempts but do not directly reveal plaintext passwords.
