Unauthenticated service interruption via NAS packet mishandling
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Denial of service in NAS on affected Samsung Exynos processors and modems allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a DL NAS Transport packet. The NAS component incorrectly handles that packet, but Samsung has not disclosed the faulty operation performed during processing. The packet arrives over the cellular network without authentication or user interaction; Samsung does not specify whether the resulting failure is a crash, hang, or recoverable reset.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
