Operator-level code execution via Layout Template traversal
Published Jul 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 30, 2025
Path traversal in Logpoint SIEM before 7.6.0 allows remote authenticated users with operator privileges to execute code. Layout Template creation fails to constrain an operator-supplied path, allowing traversal outside the intended location; the vendor has not disclosed the affected field or filesystem operation. Exploitation requires an operator account and interaction by another user, and successful execution can read or alter data and interrupt the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
