Unauthenticated root code execution via exposed X11 server

Remote code execution in Thermo Fisher Ion Torrent OneTouch 2 devices allows remote attackers to gain root access through an exposed X11 server. The server listens on all interfaces at TCP port 6000, while its default ACL trusts 192.168.2.15 even when DHCP assigns the instrument a different address. Any network device able to use that trusted address can interact with matchbox-desktop, spawn a terminal, and execute code as root.
