Authenticated malicious plugin installation via missing authorization
Published Jun 2, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025
Improper access control in Juzaweb CMS 3.4.0 through 3.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to list and install plugins. The /admin-cp/plugin/install endpoint accepts requests from accounts whose roles have all permissions disabled and exposes plugin listing and upload operations without the required authorization check. Any authenticated low-privilege account can enumerate installed plugins and install a plugin containing malicious code.
