Code execution via crafted-file out-of-bounds read
Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Substance 3D Modeler 1.22.3 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted file. During crafted-file parsing, an undisclosed parser reads past the end of an allocated memory structure, accessing memory outside the intended object. Exploitation requires a local user to open the malicious file, and successful code runs in the context of that current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
