Code execution via crafted-file out-of-bounds read
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Substance 3D Modeler 1.22.2 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a crafted file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or file format, but states that crafted-file parsing reads past the end of an allocated memory structure. Exploitation requires a victim to open the malicious file, after which code runs in the context of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
