Code execution via undisclosed use-after-free
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Use-after-free in Adobe Substance 3D Modeler 1.22.2 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, object, or incorrect lifetime operation beyond identifying a file-triggered use-after-free. No authentication is needed, but a victim must open the file; successful code runs only with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
