Arbitrary file read via EDCSecurity SOAP XXE
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Aug 22, 2025
XXE in Adobe Experience Manager Forms on JEE 6.5.23.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read local files through SOAP web services. The EDCSecurity SOAP header accepts a DOCTYPE with an external DTD, resolves attacker-controlled entities, and returns local file contents in a SOAP fault. No authentication or user interaction is required, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the service account.
