Code execution in the current user context
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Heap-based buffer overflow in Adobe InCopy 20.4 and 19.5.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser, malformed field, or unchecked memory operation that causes the heap overwrite. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file, and resulting code runs only in the current user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
