Published Aug 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Open redirect in Firefox for iOS before 141 allows remote attackers to open arbitrary websites or internal pages through a crafted link. The internal open-text URL scheme, intended to convert text queries into searches, accepts a link target that is handled as an arbitrary URL. Exploitation requires a user to click the crafted link and can navigate the browser to attacker-chosen web content or privileged internal pages.
