CVE-2025-54119Network attack vector

SQL injection via interpolated SQLite3 table names

Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

SQL injection in ADOdb before 5.22.10 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through crafted SQLite3 table names. The SQLite3 driver's metaColumns(), metaForeignKeys(), and metaIndexes() methods interpolate the table parameter into PRAGMA or sqlite_master queries instead of binding it. Exploitation requires an application to use the SQLite3 driver and pass attacker-controlled data to one of those metadata methods; successful injection can read or alter database data and interrupt application operations.
