Command injection in Sam McLeod mcp-package-docs 0.1.27 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted MCP tool arguments. PackageDocsServer interpolates package names and symbols into child_process.exec shell strings without neutralizing metacharacters. Exploitation requires an MCP client or its user to invoke a vulnerable documentation tool with attacker-controlled input; commands run with the server process's privileges.
