Administrator session hijacking via stored fullname script
Published Jun 1, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025
Stored XSS in Blogbook 92f5cf90f8a7e6566b576fe0952e14e1c6736513 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. register_script.php stores the fullname parameter as user_firstname after applying only SQL escaping, and admin/users.php renders it without HTML encoding. Registration requires no existing account; execution occurs when a privileged user views the user list and can expose that user's session cookie for account hijacking.
