Credential disclosure via authentication-token access logging
Published Jul 17, 2025 · Updated Jul 17, 2025
Sensitive-data exposure in Rucio Helm Charts allows authentication tokens from HTTP requests to be written to Apache access logs. The common rucio-server, rucio-ui, and rucio-webui templates include the X-Rucio-Auth-Token header in Apache's logFormat, copying full or partial credentials into each access entry. Disclosure requires access to those logs; JWTs are often truncated and unusable, while complete internal tokens remain exposed credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
