Stored script execution via unsanitized emergency description
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025
Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.4.5 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser through a crafted emergency description. The control.php POST handler stores descricao_emergencia input without proper validation or sanitization and later returns it in an affected page, where the browser executes it. Successful exploitation requires a user to open that page and can expose session or account data or alter content within that user's application context.
