Reflected XSS via unsanitized cpf response
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025
Reflected XSS in WeGIA before 3.4.5 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser through a crafted cpf query value. The GET endpoint /html/pet/adotantes/cadastro_adotante.php returns the cpf value without validation or output sanitization, so the browser parses supplied markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted request; the script then runs in that browser session and can read or modify accessible page data and actions.
